One of the newest additions to the array of sport facilities offered by the city of Barrie, is the Barrie Sports Dome, offering indoor soccer and golf.
If you prefer the slower pace and would take a quiet break in your travels, you must visit the Barrie Public Library. It is a modern facility, bright and specious, offering an array of programs for young and old.

Since you are in Barrie, it is just a stone throw to Snow Valley Resort, a skiing and snowboarding resort offering night runs just at the Northern edge of the city. If you up for bit longer trip, you may venture to Horseshoe Valley, with spectacular scenery on the way, again ski till you drop, or until 10PM. Then, you have to visit the spectacular Mount St. Louis Moonstone, located 20 minutes north of Barrie, just off of Hwy 400.
