I booked one night at the Blue Mountain Inn in Collingwood for my husband and I. One night away from the kids....just us.....something we haven't done in a long time. Suffice to say we were looking forward to it. We drove the 1.5 hr or so journey to Blue Mountain. It was an easy, leisurely drive. Check in was at... more

We booked on-line. To our disappointment upon check in, the room booked only had 1 queen bed despite the fact that we specified 2 adults, a 13-year old and a 10-year old child. The reservation confirmation failed to inform us of the mistake or the need for us to bring sleeping bags if we chose to stay in that room.... more

Just came back from a 3 night stay at Blue Mountain Resort - staying at the Cachet Crossings Condos that are part of the resort. Outdated is an understatement. Our first 3 bedroom condo (108) was terrible - very worn furniture and decor and the kitchen table was 2 folding card tables put together. Called the front desk & they... more

We stayed 2 nights over the Family day long weekend. Our stay included breakfast and dinner daily. It was a surprisingly good stay. The building was an older building but the rooms seems to be refurbished. Our room has two double beds. It was very roomy and the carpet is in good shape. The bathroom is a little smaller than... more

It’s a very, very basic motel. The place is worn out. Requires major renovation. Beds are extremely small (never seen so small beds in any accommodation). Elevators are very slow and smelly and so on. The only good think - location (pretty close to the ski lifts). Swimming pool and Jacuzzis are OK, but too small more

Recently stayed at the Rivergrass homes section at Blue Mountain. The Condo / home had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom with a king bed and seperate washroom. The second bedroom with two small beds and no washroom. The accomodations themselves were nice and I would say fairly new. When entering this unit, it clearly was not cleaned properly.... more

The facility is definitely on the shabby side -- hole in the ceiling in reception, hole in the ceiling in the closet of room, mid-70's decor. Obviously most of the money -- and effort -- are being pumped into the "village" part of the resort (read: canned, expensive quaintness). Customer service was definitely lacking. Examples: no resort/local information book in... more

I'm currently staying at the Blue Mountain Inn and I wish I wasn't! I am here for a conference and discovered after checking in that my room is in a building that is a ten minute walk from the conference building...not sure why I was placed here when I made a reservation almost two months ago. When I realized this... more

I was unimpressed by the inn (tacky, tasteless decor), but the service was fine and the town itself was quite nice. more

This was the final leg of our 10 day trip to Ontario and being well travelled was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. On checking in we were allocated a room which had not been cleaned so we returned to reception to be allocated a different room with the explantion of it 'being a computer error'.... more
