The room was clean but modest. The hotel operates on a shoestring as far as amendments such as drinking cups and extra soap. The continental breakfast was the sparsest encountered on our 9th night on the road. No local transportation brochures. The AAA book says that no elevator exists, but there is one. more

Upon checking in, I immediately found my non-smoking room to have a very pronounced cigarette smell. After contacting, and even having one of the front-desk people sniff the air in the room, I was told that it was "just the vacuuming smell from housekeeping." stayed here expecting a 3 star but walked in and it looked like a funeral home. the hotel is nothing better than a low-end-super 8, even the TVs are smaller than 17"! In 2007, when hotels are adding higher end amenities in their rooms, this hotel looks like it is from 1907, not 2007! The smell in our original room... more
