We stayed here when visiting Toronto in June 2008. The distance from downtown wasn't bad..only about a 10 minute drive. We weren't impressed with the quality of the hotel. Other than the nice brick exterior, this hotel is in bad condition. We didn't use any of the kitchenette facilities, but they looked in poor condition. One cabinet door was missing. I just returned from staying just under a week (6 days, actually) at the Sandalwood Suites. Great location - very close to the airport and everywhere I needed to be. Relatively easy to find, even at 1am in the morning (thanks to a very delayed flight). Wonderful rate. Room was clean and comfortable and very quiet (most of the time).... more
