Winter tires... dress your wheels before the snow falls
Winter Driving Tips
Did you know that you should always put winter tires on as a complete set?
To get the most out of your seasonal tires, you need to do things the right way.
If, for some reason, you decide to just go with front or back set, you may be in for a surprise.
The point of installing winter tires is to have greater traction control, manageability and stopping power.
If you just install the front or just the back, you are reducing the effectiveness of the tire performance by half.
The difference in traction is so big from front to back that it is very difficult to determine, how your car will react
and what winter driving techniques should be implemented.
The best way to make sure that you and your family is safe on winter roads is to follow the manufacturers
directions carefully. Each brand may have different specifications, so make sure that you know your brand and it's requirements.
Your preference may be with Michelin, or
Firestone. Perhaps you just love the performance of
Goodyear or maybe you swear, you never use anything else but
Pirelli. Eacn one has a wide selection of styles,
and types of tires. It's good to take time and research your options, right tires may save your life. Return to top of
